At the ballet
After taking ballet from the age of 4 and into my early 20's. Then working as a professional dancer for many years it all came to a stop with work, marriage and kids.
But it definitely set me in good stead for life.
Now in my 40's and with an 11 year old daughter who suddenly wanted to start Ballet( It's never too late) I am a full on ballet mum and loving it.
Dropping her off at the wonderful Cobble Hill ballet studio in Brooklyn New York owned by a fellow Brit, Colette Linton-Meyer, it brings all those wonderful memories of my youth back.

Really looking forward to helping out backstage with the Christmas performance of The Nutcracker.
But I don't think I will be taking the adult classes any time soon!
A few of my favorite Ballet inspired fashion pics.

Vogue Enfants
Vogue Paris Enfants: The September Issue!
I know it was a month ago that Vogue Enfants was introduced in the September Issue of
French Vogue.
I read a lot of critisicism about some of the adult - like images of some of the models in previous issues but now I think this one is adorable.
I may have to use this image again for Our White Rabbit England 1st of The Month reminder!
This reminds me of my best friends dog Tiki.
If anyone has Vogue Enfants, apparently we have one of our toadstool night lights in the issue.
Please let us know if you have it we would love a copy!
Thanks

Halloween Decor DIY ( Do It Yourself)
I'm planning our regular Halloween party again.
Unfortunately I'm not a big fan of the colour orange!! So I try to stay clear of anything traditionally orange.
It is possible to decorate on a budget yet keep it simple and cool looking.
Again as I said in my last post.
Buy Cobwebs.... and lots of them.
Spread them across a room, high up from chandeliers, light fittings, picture frames , mirrors.
Throw in plastic spiders, mice and flys..
Buy black candles instead of white for a gothic feel and use lots of candle holders everywhere.
Candle light will create a moody feel
Luckily we weren't sent a beautiful bunch of white roses.
As they were starting to die I grabbed the bottle of fake blood that we had left over from last years Halloween and poured it over the flowers.
Another great idea is use old glass bottles or jars or this really cool old skull vodka bottle we had left over.
Fill the with water and then add red food colouring.
You could even pop in a few plastic eyeballs for extra drama.
I'm thinking of making this fab skeleton decor , yet another great idea from Graphic Fairy.
Down load her skeleton graphics and cut them out.
Can't wait to put the glitter on the top hat.
Go here for her free and easy printables.
You could also print out these skeleton images form Graphic Fairy and put them in some old frames.
