India Hicks, Model,Designer, Author, Mother.

We were delighted when the amazing Interior designer India Hicks got in touch to thank us for our Rabbit nightlight we sent to her daughter Domino for her 4th birthday.
This is her story about the Traveling China Bunny rabbit nightlight going on vacation to The Alps!!

It was Ok for a number of years dealing with the stress of not forgetting Scratchy Bunny (scratchy when glue got spilt on him and even a fierce Bahamian laundry system could not remove the stain) especially as Scratchy Bun is small-ish and squash-able.

But now an attachment to a Bone China Bunny? I repeat, BONE CHINA.

Admittedly far less easy to leave in a departure lounge, or get wrapped up into hotel sheets and forgotten, but possibly next time the White Rabbit sisters could do a less attractive rabbit night light. An evil devil or something? Except we already have a few of those living with us.

Do you remember this??

I do as a child from the 70's.

I just loved these cute characters.

It reminds me of Valentines day.

The New Zealander Kim Grove Casali, first invented comics in 1970. It was the year of the film “Love Story” premiere, whose slogan was “Love means never having to say you’re sorry”.

At first black and white comics appeared on the editorial page of the Los Angeles Times and won the first popularity, been weekly publishing in the latest issue of the newspaper.

In 1975, Kim has met with a British designer, Bill Asprey, whom she then, in 1978, asked to create a special, color version of the comics for British newspaper “Mail on Sunday” in England .

Meet the White Rabbit Pets! Donkeys, Dogs and Persians.

Thought it was about time we introduced you to our Wonderful Team.

Meet the Pets that we love and inspire us.

The Donkeys - England

Biddy and Barney are based at White Rabbit England Headquarters.

Our Offices have fields all around and there they live.

Charlotte always wanted Donkeys and so adopted 2 rescues a few years ago.

But now Biddy is pregnant!!

Oh Yes!!

We thought we would a have a new baby for Christmas but donkeys take longer than humans...We are still waiting.

Next is Molly and Suzy and Teddy

More rescues.

They spend the days running around the fields rolling around in the mud and bringing home pheasants.

Teddy has become head of Human Resources.

The Cats in The USA New York

Mr Parsley( WInston Churhill) a flat faced Persian.

We rescued him but we weren't quite sure what it was .. a gremlin or Mogwai.

Well he was in bad shape but like everything we get off the Street we clean it up and make it good.

Can you believe this is the same cat!!!

Finally .... Marmite , name after my husband and daughters favourite British spread.

Another rescue persian we just couldn't resist.

These guys give us huge joy and love.

Birthday parties with a little help from Martha Stewart and Etsy!

I'm a huge fan of Birthday parties no matter how old.

My sons 8th Birthday is coming up and he wants to have a pretty traditional party at home, Cake, Pinata , games etc.
